Here is a very old remix back in 1998, way before I used computers to make music. I was inspired by those Chopped and Screwed mixtapes back in the day. Ingredients 1 Cheap Standard 2 Channel Mixer 1 Stevie Wonder record and 1 cheap record player from a garage sale. This was used just for the scratching effects, lol. 1 Old Equalizer to filter out the bass from the cassette tape. I adjusted the tempo of the song by using a phillips head screwdriver on the motor. 1 Sony CD Walkman was used to play the instrumental of " The Boy Is Mine " over the filtered track. Timing was a bish! 1 Sony Minidisc recorder was used to capture/edit/combine it all. Each section was recorded around 10 - 20 seconds or when the beat would start to slip off, then I could keep the good part and redo following part. This 3:37 song actually took about an hour to make.
