Hopes Milford Care Centre's Light Up A Memory Event Can Provide Funds For Essential Upgrades

People of Clare are being encouraged to help raise vital funds for a Midwest hospice by honoring the memory of their loved ones this weekend.
The Light Up A Memory event will take place this Sunday at 6.00pm on the grounds of Milford Care Centre, where people can remember their loved ones by sponsoring a light that will be placed on the centre's Christmas tree.
In recent years, the number of sponsorships for the campaign has grown rapidly, with over 20,000 lights placed on the tree last year.
Fundraising Manager, Anne Marie Hayes says the money raised facilitates the provision of essential upgrades for the midwest facility which aren't covered by state funding.
