At 19, Jeremy tore three major ligaments in his knee and had what was supposed to be an easy surgery. Turned out not to be so easy and after being out for three days, he received last rites from a priest. This should have been a life-changing event for him, but it wasn’t. He went on to receive his masters degree in ancient history from Seton Hall University, studied literature at Oxford University and graduated into one of the worst job markets in history.

Jeremy Ryan Slate started the Create Your Own Life Podcast In late 2015.  He was struggling as an entrepreneur then but due to hard work and determination his life very quickly took off. In addition to interviewing many of the people he admires the most, he runs Command Your Brand and Slate Media Productions.

He used to be a negative thinker, but he learned ways to shift that, ways he's sharing with us in this interview.
