Here's something to consider: do you think of yourself as anxious?



Do you have a problem with emotional eating, stress eating, comfort eating and/or binge eating?



Do you recognize yourself eating to try to escape uncomfortable anxiety or worry, eating to try to feel better?



Do your unhealthy eating habits make it very difficult for you to lose weight?

When you take a look under the anxiety, under the worry, what exactly is there?



It's fear. Fear drives the worry, which fuels the anxiety, which drives more fear. All of this can happen very quickly especially if you have a long-standing habit of thoughts of worry and negative thinking.



And then what happens with your eating? Do you easily and consciously choose the healthy, portion-controlled option and eat only when physically hungry? Or does your worry, anxiety, and fear push you to emotional eating to try and soothe your fears?
