How ECU's shocking weekend impacts the team's postseason chances

After winning five consecutive baseball games, East Carolina shockingly suffered a home sweep at the hands of Florida Atlantic over the weekend. The Pirates went from 6-0 in conference to 6-3 in league play, falling to third place. ECU is now 20-13 overall, with its at-large chances taking a major hit with six weeks left in the regular season, as the RPI dropped into the 90s.
The Pirates will try and bounce back this coming week against NC State on Tuesday, and a weekend road trip to Charlotte.
