contrary to the host's assertion, the swift, unequivocal response to the tragedy does not seem "unfathomable...impractical" to many of us Americans, though it may be to him. in fact, tears sprang to my eyes when I heard about the prime Minister's response. tears because leaders in the US can't find in themselves the humanity, conscience, will, and compassion to act likewise.

Alex Mercedes Yeah, the host seems like a simpleton who cannot grasp complexity. I get that posing an interview question in an obtuse way can draw a stronger answer, but this guy is a one trick pony. There's also an old saying about wearing the (stupid) mask for too long...
