Description

UBER, the ride-hailing app has disrupted the taxi, Jitney and limo industry in Atlantic City. Will AirBnB do the same to the local hotel and rooming industry? Can Atlantic City leverage this fast growing trend, or will the State of NJ step in and control it, much like they did with UBER.

What does Atlantic City Councilman Jesse Kurtz think about AirBnB, the popular short-term, home rental platform? Listen to the ACprimetime podcast interview.

Should we let it grow organically with no City Hall intrusion? Or should AirBnB be properly licensed to ensure safety and quality of life for the neighborhoods of AC?

Voice your opinion WED JULY 5, City Hall Council Chambers. The growth of short-term rentals in Atlantic City, especially through Online services, has created both opportunities and concerns for many neighborhoods in our city.

Be a part of this hearing! All attendees are encouraged to provide testimony on what is happening and how the city should handle this situation.

Questions? Councilman Jesse O. Kurtz
