In this podcast I speak about San Juanita Garcia’s article, “Racializing “Illegality”: An Intersectional Approach yo Understanding How Mexican-origin Women Navigate an Anti-immigrant Climate.” Not every one is the same. Mexicans are Hispanic, but not all Hispanics are Mexicans. I encourage all my Latinx people to keep speaking Spanish in public spaces, and to those Caucasian American individuals who speak Spanish in public and are applaud for it, educate others about this unfairness.
