Description

'Transforming the slums of Delhi' - Part 1, with Dr. Kiran Martin, Delhi, India

------------------------

Dr. Kiran Martin lives in Delhi, India, and began the ministry of ASHA - which means 'hope' in the Hindi language - more than 21 years ago, in the slums of Delhi.  Her work has brought her into contact with the Indian Government, major banks and with criminal slumlords - straight out of 'Slumdog Millionaire!'  I interviewed her when she visited Holywood, Co. Down, a few months ago.
