Description
Odysseus' return to Ithaca following his earlier Odyssey adventures is covered in The Return in Flixtor. Odysseus's role as a soldier is highlighted, and the majority of the film is devoted to helping him process his trauma and grief from fighting in the war. The lighting and atmosphere are respectful, and the production takes a particularly grounded approach. The film has a surprisingly high number of locations, and I felt the pacing and continuity were well-executed and consistent. In contrast, the makeup and costumes are remarkably mediocre.
