Rivetting read, educational too.
Interesting read. I found this book rivetting, once I got into it I found it hard to put it down. It's quite a page-turner, as well as educational about some kinds of mental illnesses. I enjoyed the story, the pace , the writing and the education.
Note that Amazon are mistaken in the attribution of the author. Gordon Parker is perhaps a common name, and lends itself to confusion. The author of In Two Minds is an Australian Professor of Psychiatry, who is also a creative writer. It is not the Gordon Parker from northern England. This could be useful to know, as the author really does know what he is talking about in reference to mental illness. He founded The Black Dog Institute, the major educational body about depression and mood disorders in Australia.
