Supratim actively collaborates with industry associations such as the US India Business Council and the Digital Lending Association of India on submitting representations and feedback on key legislative and policy initiatives of the Indian Government. Aside from national-level policy initiatives, due to his thought leadership in the data privacy space, Supratim was also invited to Bangladesh by ‘Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services’ (BASIS) to provide inputs to lawmakers there for preparing their data protection law. He is also regularly invited to eminent forums to speak on the subject and is quoted frequently in leading national dailies.
As one of India’s leading data privacy lawyers, he is ranked as a “Leading Individual” for 3 consecutive years for data protection by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2021, 2022 and 2023.
