Brown was the 2015 Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Year and a three-time first-team All-MAC selection. Brown also set single-season school records for most tackles for loss (20.0) and sacks (12.0). Brown finished his collegiate career with a record 41.5 tackles for loss and his 18.0 sacks trail only the great Jason Taylor.
