my eyes
and memory

Examined with
my mind's eye
served up to you
on a silver
platter: in text, in airwaves

Life is all in slices and molecules
and only we can string
them together
and build something worth
living for

I hope my words
help make sense
of things that
never make sense
sometimes...

These poems save me
and sometimes
they unravel and
break things in
to smaller pieces
