Effective October 1, 2017 parents of students who bully could face jail time and a fine. This new law criminalizing bullying was passed in a small town north of Buffalo, NY.
For some bullying is a right of passage and to other's it's "predator" vs. "prey". Anti-bullying expert, Nancy Willard, explains why addressing bullying is critical to our society. She'll also discuss strategies currently being used and where schools can make strides in addressing harassment and bullying.
