Israel lays siege to occupied West Bank’s Tubas, displaces tens of families

Israeli troops have raided large parts of the city of Tubas in the Occupied West Bank. It's the latest in a growing number of incursions by Israeli forces displacing Palestinians from their homes. Roads into the city were blocked off with mounds of dirt dug up by bulldozers. Residents say the Israeli military conducted door-to-door raids and forced around 30 families from their homes. Israel says they are targeting armed fighters. But the governor of Tubas says the city is near the fertile Jordan Valley, and that Israel is using the raids as an excuse to force more Palestinians off their land.
