The Canes lost the preseason finale in overtime -- during which Andrei Svechnikov absorbed a huge check from Nashville's Joakim Kemell. Jordan Martinook and Seth Jarvis scored and Pyotr Kochetkov kept the Canes in the game with a stellar 3rd period.
