Episode 043 | Today's episode is all about helping people, particularly in the geriatric population, who suffer from itchy skin. My guest -- who is staying warm and hopefully not very itchy in Arizona -- is the delightful Dr. Daniel C. Butler. I can't imagine a better person for this discussion.
Dr. Butler is the assistant dean of student affairs and an associate professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson. He directs the University of Arizona’s Inflammatory and Aging Skin Research Program.
Dr. Butler's research interests focus on the presentation and treatment of skin disease in older adults. He founded and leads international clinical and research groups evaluating best practices in this population. He has active clinical trials focusing on pruritus and atopic dermatitis in older adults.
