didn’t matter - people were the same

coach and teach people how to sell diamonds
diamond room is where the magic happened

jewelry store on every corner of a mall
wither you closed, or the competition did

Kevin Johnson in Des Moines
tiny town west des moines
farmers, overalls, shit on their boots

Fall of the year, and KJ wanted to be #1
gotta say - limiting beliefs in my own mind
but I couldn't show it

he wanted #1 and it’s my job to show him the light

What it would take
3 times a day for 30 days straight
even if it is to your cat or an empty chair
you got to do the real work

go into diamond room and role played
broke it down
what I said and why said it
getting to know their needs
how I educated the client

made them feel good about their decision
validated them
closed them

KJ took notes like a mad man
few things he didn’t get, so we went back and worked on them

Same thing over the next few weeks
wanted clarification

New Year comes
KJ is ready
February #1
May #1
June #1
end of summer - off he goes
$100,000 offer in Chicago
20 years old making GIANT money
why?
he became a master

look at listing presentation like a diamond room presentation

Mentoring call with a bunch of agents

people went nuts

went back over things and got clarification
what was said
why it was said
broke down every component

powerful day
put me to the challenge because it was spontaneous
and that’s how it should be

live
in a unique situation
on stage
pressure is on
that is the RELA world
