Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show, I’m your host Paul and this video we’re breaking down Joker.

Throughout this video we’re gonna be going through the easter eggs, making of trivia and all the theories about whats going on. Now I think it’s difficult to downplay how much of a phenomenon this was at the time. Breaking the box office by becoming a billion dollar hit, it was a massive shakeup in the comic book fandom.

This was in a time when trying to mimic the marvel formula was something DC were desperate to do. They’d reshot and re-edited several of their movies in order to give them a much lighter tone. However this showed that there’s still a lot of love for these kinds of films which is how the movie went into production.
