iCarly Star Jaidyn Triplett and her Dad Joshua on Landing a Dream Role

Jaidyn and Joshua Triplett are a daughter/dad acting team. Joshua has appeared in numerous television shows since his career began. Jaidyn just landed a dream role: series regular on the Paramount+ reboot of the Nickelodeon hit series, iCarly.

The new iCarly is adult–having grown up with its millennial audience. Jaidyn plays Millicent, stepdaughter to Nathan Kress’s character Freddy.

In this conversation, Jaidyn, Joshua and I discuss the former’s newfound fame, and the unique way she landed the coveted role during the pandemic. Plus, the pair discuss being a father/daughter acting duo–they first appeared together in a commercial.

Joshua also opens up about his role supporting Jaidyn on her iCarly adventure. Jaidyn says that her, her dad and the cast have all become a family.
