Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders, sidelined since August with a hip injury, is expected to return in the next week or two, but wont play this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Coach Mike McDaniel emphasizes the teams commitment to Sanders full recovery. In Sanders absence, Riley Patterson has stepped up, making 24 out of 26 field goals and 28 out of 29 extra points, including a career-long 54-yard kick last week. The Dolphins face the Buccaneers and Patriots after the Bengals game.
