This episode of the Jiminy Crickets Podcast marks the beginning of an ongoing series where we will revisit Walt Disney's classic Silly Symphony animated shorts of the 1930's. Each episode will cover the best and most fondly remembered cartoons of a particular year.
Our first episode of this series will cover the milestone year of 1935. regarded by Disney historians as the apex year of the series. We will discuss our top six shorts of the year, from its origin, to the behind the scenes production, to the movie release. These will include: "The Tortoise and the Hare", "The Cookie Carnival" , "Who Killed Cock Robin?" , "Music Land" , "Three Orphan Kittens" and "Broken Toys."
