Doug’s Take: Yes. Even if the job that is presented to you is not a fit, it’s worthwhile to respond and network with the recruiter for future potential opportunities or referrals.

Doug’s Take: The worst places to look for jobs are the places where everyone else is also looking.

Doug’s Take: Resumes are part of the fabric and culture of our society. When applying to a company, you’re usually asked to furnish one.

Question #4

Doug’s Take: If you can afford it, non-paid internships are a great way to get your foot in the door. It creates separation between you and peers that are unwilling to do unpaid work.
