Multi-talented virtuoso JOEL HOEKSTRA (Whitesnake, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Revolution Saints) leads an all-star ensemble, again, on his solo project’s third album, ‘Crash of Life’, casting Girish Pradhan (Girish & The Chronicles) on lead vocals this time around. Filling out the roster is bassist Tony Franklin (Blue Murder, The Firm), drummer Vinny Appice (Last In Line, ex-Dio, Black Sabbath), and keyboardist Derek Sherinian(Sons Of Apollo, Black Country Communion).
Creating hard rock soaked in 80’s atmosphere, the talented musicians of JOEL HOEKSTRA’S 13 have really hit a nice stride producing crystal perfect AOR flavor sure to please old fans who “knew them when” and newer, younger fans who crave that classic sound. HOEKSTRA, once again overseeing the entire creative process from songwriting to production, obviously also has a knack for surrounding himself with incredible talent.
