Johnny Hanna is one of the Co-Founders of Homie. If you’ve driven on I-15 in Utah, you can’t miss their witty billboards. Homie's mission is to simplify home buying and selling with a one-stop-shop experience with Homie Real Estate, Homie Loans, Homie Title, and Homie Insurance. Prior to Homie, Johnny was President and Co-Founder of Entrata, a real estate software company that he started when he was in college. He helped the company grow to over $100 million in annual revenue.
Johnny and his wife, Paige, have 7 boys, 1 little girl, and two dogs. Johnny graduated from BYU-Idaho as part of its first graduating class.
In this podcast we talk about some of the worst lemons Johnny has been dealt, and how he has been able to turn those lemons into lemonade. He also talks about the pain of needing to lay off people at Homie, his journey with mental health - how it’s intersected with business, and his thoughts on building and maintaining a successful company culture.
