But when the July 4th flooding disaster struck, we were reminded of another side of that Texas spirit: the deep, unwavering drive to show up for each other. For many here, these are the worst of times -- but they’ll get better, according to a man who has lived the horror many are going through right now. Jonathan McComb lost his wife and two young children in a catastrophic Texas flood 10 years ago—but his story didn’t end there. Today, he shares how faith and time have helped him slowly rebuild his life and why he’s committed to helping others find purpose again.
