Joshua T. Berglan's Opening Monologue on Levels of Surrender
Description
Good evening, everyone, and welcome to another episode of The World's Mayor Experience . Tonight, we have a special treat for you—a conversation with the incredible Paul Levitin. But before we dive into that, I want to talk to you about something that's been on my mind lately: the levels of surrender. You see, surrender often gets a bad rap. We associate it with defeat, with giving up.
But what if I told you that surrender is not about losing, but about gaining? Gaining peace, gaining clarity, and yes, gaining a life that aligns with your true self. The first level of surrender is 'Acceptance.' It's about acknowledging where you are right now, without judgment. Acceptance doesn't mean you have to like the situation; it means you're not wasting energy fighting reality. The second level is 'Letting Go.' This is where you release the need to control outcomes. You do your best, and then you let the universe take care of the rest. It's liberating, trust me.The third level is 'Embracing Uncertainty.' Life is unpredictable, and that's okay.
When you embrace uncertainty, you open yourself up to possibilities you never even imagined. The fourth level is 'Faith.' Not necessarily religious faith, but faith in something greater than yourself. It's a belief that everything happens for a reason, even if we don't understand it at the moment. And finally, the fifth level is 'Total Surrender.' This is the point where you're in complete harmony with life. You're not just going with the flow; you are the flow. So, as we explore these themes tonight with Paul Levitin, I invite you to consider: What level of surrender are you at? And more importantly, are you ready to level up?Stay tuned, this is going to be an enlightening episode.
