In the hot seat today we have British neo soul singer-songwriter Joy Crookes. Joy’s chosen year is 2009 putting Joy at the tender age of 9 - our youngest pivotal age yet. Joy credits the year as a tough one and marks it as the age that she began to develop her emotional language which echoes through all of her lyrics now.
