Description

CINCINNATI -- The Bengals defense allowed 502 yards of total offense to Justin Fields and the Jets and blew fourth quarter leads of 31-16 and 38-24 to lose to the previously winless New York Jets at Paycor Stadium. The loss was as inexplicable as it was inexcusable. The Bengals are now 3-5 and left to wonder how to fix a defense that can't rush the quarterback or stop the run. Will a loss like this finally shine a light on the deficiencies of the front office? Richard Skinner of Local 12 joins Trags to discuss. The Bengals again were throttled on defense due to poor tackling and blown assignments. The loss overshadowed a terrific game from running back Chase Brown who had a touchdown run and a touchdown catch.
