Kansas Jayhawks secure victory over Missouri Tigers in Border War series, with a score of 80-60. Despite a strong start from Missouri fans, Kansas took control, led by star freshman Darryn Petersons 17 points and Tre Whites 20 points and 13 rebounds. Kansass defense was instrumental, with seven blocked shots and ten turnovers from Missouri. Kansass three-point shooting also improved, hitting 42.1% from beyond the arc.
