Techniques for implementing CGM in primary care

In this episode, Dr. Jennifer Green dives into several sessions from the EASD 2024 meeting held in Madrid, Spain (September 9-13, 2024), covering topics on the impact of CGM use in T2D on hemoglobin A1C in patients using insulin and non-insulin therapies; hospitalization and ER rates; in non-ICU hospitalized patients; in hospitalized sub-populations of patients who had undergone cardiac surgery, and in sub-populations who had diabetic ketoacidosis. In addition, Dr. Green also covered the impact of hyperglycemia on one-year mortality in older patients using insulin, as well as a new glucose monitoring device that provides calibration-free intradermal glucose.
