Update: 2025-12-09
Description
Collin Klein is assembling his Kansas State football coaching staff, with Christian Ellsworth, a former K-State graduate assistant and Texas A&M tight ends coach, set to join as tight ends coach. Other potential hires from Texas A&M include Josh Buford and Scotty Ohara, while Jordan Peterson, the Aggies co-defensive coordinator, is also in the mix. Stanton Weber, a former K-State wide receiver and Toledo special teams coordinator, is another strong candidate. Trey Scott, a former K-State quarterback, is a leading candidate for general manager. Taylor Braet, K-States director of recruiting, will stay on. Klein plans to take his time building the right staff for team success.
