Today I have my friend kristina on the podcast. Growing up in San Marcos she always lived a double life of getting in trouble and having success in school and sports. She started drinking and using drugs at 18 and hide her problem with fitness working as trainer and competing. With years of hard drug use living at the mt Vernon hotel and the streets she was able to get clean in 2017. With a relapse on alcohol and finding out her mom passed away from a overdose, she decided to get fully sober again. Kristina has been clean and sober since 2/4/2019 with the help of 12 steps and coda recovery. She opens up about not forgetting where she come from and that she can now can be there for her family and the recovery community
