Sometimes screaming on stage, microphone in mouth, sometimes duetting with Nick Cave, she is one of the feminist rock artists of the 2000s who paved the way for the rebels of the next generations. In concert at Hus7 in Stockholm, La Tranche met her in the noisy backstage to talk about the rise of fascism, the Velvet Underground and silence as a weapon.
