Lebanon’s prime minister, Nawaf Salam, says plans to demilitarize the south of the country are “on track”... with the Lebanese army expanding its presence there, particularly near the border with Israel. But the Israeli army says otherwise, accusing Hezbollah of reestablishing its military infrastructure in the area.
