Description
According to the latest data from the American Gaming Association, Minnesota is one of a dozen states that is not currently moving forward with legislation to legalize sports betting. That may soon change. Over the last few years, bipartisan efforts that would allow sports betting in Minnesota have stalled, but signs are pointing to a potential break in the log jam. Senator Roger Chamberlain, R-Lino Lakes, and Representative Zack Stephenson, DFL-Coon Rapids, are spearheading efforts to legalize sports betting, and they join Capitol Report Moderator Shannon Loehrke to preview their proposals.
