Swahili is one of the most loved languages spoken in Africa, especially on the east coast of Africa. People with Swahili as their mother tongue are referred as Waswahili. In Tanzania, Swahili is the mother tongue and a national language, also used as the language of instruction in primary education level. However in Kenya and Uganda, Swahili is the second language. Swahili is also spoken in other countries such as Rwanda, Congo (DRC) and even central and southern African countries. In fact, Swahili is the most taught African language in the world, with a very rich literal tradition.
