Description
‘Lewis and the Blackfeet’ covers July 1806 for the Captain Lewis-led contingent of the Corps. Having split into several smaller parties, Lewis and a few of his party encounter hostile Blackfeet Indians. Shots are exchanged, wounding and killing two of the Blackfeet–the only actual hostile encounter with an Indian tribe of the entire journey.
