Lighthouse Christian Academys freshmen and sophomore basketball team, the Saints, faced a challenging season opener against Westmark School, losing 27-56. The team committed fourteen fouls, compared to Westmarks three, showcasing their inexperience. However, the Saints found success with three-point shots, sinking seven compared to Westmarks three. Although the result was a loss, the game provided valuable experience and a foundation for growth as the team continues to develop their skills throughout the season.
