The Tampa Bay Lightning lost 4-3 to the Pittsburgh Penguins. They trailed 3-0 in the 2nd, tied it in the 3rd. The Pens would take the lead again but Nikita Kucherov tied with with less than a minute to play. But the goal was overturned due to a hand pass and the Bolts lost. Earlier on Thursday Ryan McDonagh signed a 3-year contract extension worth $4.1 million annually.
