Lisa is an incredible parenting author, a syndicated columnist, and a survivor herself of suicide loss. Lisa is also a crisis counselor with the Trevor Project.

We recognize that suicide, unfortunately, is a tragic occurrence that can leave us feeling bewildered and grappling for the answers that question why seems almost impossible to comprehend and leaves families with lasting trauma and torment. In their grief, families may even harbor a sense of responsibility, believing they could have somehow prevented it.
