Kate and I had another fun Free For All Friday Show which we hope you really enjoy.
We talked about a ton of things and as always had a really great time. While sitting in our Relax Sauna I love to watch documentaries. I sit in there and sweat for 30 minutes each day. We watched The Business of Being Born as well as the other documentary Fat Sick & Nearly Dead.
These were two excellent documentaries. Sometimes it feels like everybody lives life the way we do and I forget how mainstream America lives and eats on a daily basis. So it was good to be reminded of that from watching Fat Sick and Nearly Dead. I felt bad for all the grown adults who were addicted to their food choices.
Some of these folks were resigned to living until the ripe old age of 45 or 55 as long as they were able to enjoy what they were eating. Kate and I talked about this on this show but it’s quite amazing to see how people’s addictions to food really controls them. These people are willing to trade time with their family, seeing their children get married and have kids of their own just so they can eat pizza? It’s really strange to me.
We have to realize we’re not eating for ourselves. This body is a gift and we need to be good stewards. To whom much is given, much is required. Living a life of pleasure and selfishness isn’t what I call being a good steward.
We also talked about some doctors for liver tumors. Keeping the liver healthy is critical. It’s the only organ that will regenerate itself. That might be God’s way of telling us that it’s THE most important organ in our bodies. There are lots of things you can do to strengthen the liver. I would suggest looking at our liver page for more information on that.
If you were so inclined you could do liver gall bladder flushes, coffee enemas, take herbs like milk thistle, dandelion root and others. You could also do some cleansing by doing herbal cleanses, sweating and even rebounding. Do whatever you can to keep good liver health.
We also talked about what you can do for baby formula. Someone write in asking about breast milk options since they were adopting. There were a few things we looked at to help with breast milk.
The other thing we spent some time on was genetically modified foods (GMO) and how to clean produce that’s not organic. We suggest peeling fruits or vegetables you buy that are not organic. Even if they are you could wash them with a veggie was scrub.
Items we talked about during the show:
Inspirational Quote:
It is only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on Earth and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up that we will begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it were the only one we had. — Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
