Description
Questions are being asked over when the new ambulance and training base will be established in Sligo.
The proposed facility was given the green light a year ago with a site earmarked at Maugheraboy on the outskirts of Sligo town.
It had been set to go to design stage in early 2025 and now attentions are turning to when a design and planning application will be forthcoming.
Fine Gael Cllr Thomas Walsh says it's badly needed and the project must get off the ground as soon as possible:
