Description
NERDROTIC PREMIERES – Lodge 49 from AMC. Gary, Susan, and Dennis cover a show a little hard to describe. As AMC puts it “Big Lebowski meets Norther Exposure.” Not too sure about that. It does have Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn’s kid. He and the cast do a good job. The writing needs work. This episode Dud finds himself in a cycle of apathy and despair. After a series of “unconnected” events he finds himself deposited at the doorstep of Lodge 49, a dusty fraternal order which offers cheap beer and strange alchemical philosophies. This is listed as a comedy.
