sure is a lot of minisodes this month...feels like the podcast is going down hill. they seem more interested in touring, regardless of the fact that the live shows aren't nearly as fun to listen to as their regular episode's, but it seems they don't really care, live shows = money I guess. and so it feels like these 20 minute mini episodes could be more common place going forward.....I've been a fan of MFM since episode 1, but it's definitely not as good as it used to be. it seems their priorities have changed and the "average listener" is no longer their primary target audience. seems like the normal podcasts now are just a platform to advertise their live shows...and they're even taking longer and longer now to even get to the cases. I'm sick of having to wait nearly half an episode for them to stop blabbering on about irrelevant crap and get to the point of the episode. sucks cause MFM was my favourite podcast. but I'm slowly losing interest over time because their change in trajectory is clear. there's more money in live shows. so they're more focused on that now and no longer feel obliged to work on the normal shows as much as they used to. which is why we're seeing more and more minisodes, where they're just reading emails, many of which aren't even true crime related anymore....sad and unfortunate to see these changes happen, but they are happening....they're more interested in the fame and attention they receive at live shows, and less interested in actually doing a podcast about true crime, when their not advertising their live shows, they're promoting their patreon and their merchandise...the show has become just as much about them trying to make money as it is a crime podcast. and im personally kinda sick of being told " buy tickets for our live show. buy our merchandise, buy our patreon memberships"...they've become far more interested in selling their stuff than many other podcasts I listen too, podcasts which have just as many fans, but who still focus on the podcast. MFM have kinda sold out imo,..the crime has taken a back seat to their own self promotion.

Jaymes You are certainly allowed your opinion. However, in my humble opinion these ladies kick ass. Look at what they started with and where they are now. They've become so much to many and on top of building their little empire, they stay humble enough to never forget that the fans are the reason for their success. It sounds like this just isn't your bag anymore.
