I wonder if someone sold him fake meth, hence the baggie with no traces in it and being a big guy he went back to the place where he bought it not realizing that a lot of people in that area of California have serious arsenals at their disposal to protect what at that time would have been their medical crops and diverted medicine, so to speak. not a lot of cops there either and people out there don't like interlopers.

I wAs excited for a new episode until I heard it was Brit. She is not a storyteller and does not have the traits I enjoy that Ashley brings to the podcast.

Ok I’m all for constructive criticism but hell some of these comments are mean! Don’t listen to the podcast if you don’t like their voices?!

One of two things happened, he either overdosed or messed with the wrong drug dealer. He obviously wasn't thinking clearly being up for two days or more. Hopefully we'll find out some day.

It's really nice to hear Brit get an episode! my biggest critique of this show so far has been that the co-host doesn't really add anything to the show other than "wow, that's weird" and "omg" I really like when podcasts feel a bit more natural and the hosts can have a conversation about the topic (Stuff You Should Know is a great example of this!) Obviously I'm not asking that you guys just become the same as other podcasts that I like, I just wanted to voice my opinion in case others agree with me. If all your fans are feeling the same then maybe it would be good to switch things up a bit? Anyways, great work as always and I'm super happy to hear Brit on the front lines for a change!

I love how they make excuses for drug use so it's understandable that relapsed with all that pressure on him I'm being sarcastic I used to like this show but I think I'm canceling them

ok ladies, it seems like Ashley is transitioning to other projects with different hats and Brit is beginning to take the reigns of Crime Junkie. That's all great and I congratulate their growth. The problem I have is Flowers trying to be Brit by asking all the "civilian" questions. It comes off as fake because it is quite obvious Ash knows her shhh more than her inquiries suggest. I think it tips the scales too much to being scripted which takes away from the natural chemistry you two have. I realise that scripting is necessary to creating quality content and evolution is a byproduct of growth. Just remember where you came from and that your chemistry is part of the reason you've made it this far.
