Join hosts Michael Barr, Damian Sassower and Vanessa Perdomo for a look at some of the latest headlines and stories in the business of sports.

Major League Baseball reached new broadcast agreements with Comcast Corp.’s NBC Sports, Walt Disney Co.’s ESPN and Netflix Inc., clinching three-year deals valued at $800 million.
Under the accords announced Wednesday, NBC and its Peacock streaming service will have Sunday night games and the wild-card playoffs in a $200 million-a-year deal starting next season, according to a person with knowledge of the matter.

Netflix took the Home Run Derby and the opening day game in a $50 million-per-year deal, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the terms aren’t public. Netflix also won the rights to the Field of Dreams game, which is played where the movie Field of Dreams was made in Iowa. ESPN will air around 30 regular-season games, as it did previously, and now also has the rights to market MLB.TV as part of its ESPN streaming service. MLB.TV lets subscribers watch games outside the markets where they live. ESPN also gets in-market games for six teams.
