Ashley trying to show off that she's smarter than the police... no, Ashley you're an entertainer, marketer, and a salesperson. not a detective. If you really have so many questions about why the cops did what they did, arrange an interview with the police, or someone who can speak to police protocol such as Derek from crime weekly.

The cops killed her, that's why they don't want to investigate and why they cleaned up the crime scene.

Sometimes people get a hairs stand up on your arms feeling. Maybe after he saw her body that is what happened and he felt exposed. I understand why he would take cover if that is the case.

The officer did not get scared about perps being there until he saw her body. That's why he was ok walking around until then. He hot into position not because of some sniper pickining off lone people but because 3 perps were identified and he would be outnumbered. If they killed one cop, they may be looking to kill another. Repositioning his vehicle is smart and being in the vehicle is safer than out in the open. Yes the headlights would shine into dark but there were likely many places to hide in the alley. The fire chief arriving and taking up position with officer makes sense as they are usually not armed. Letting the paramedics go to her body while they stayed in position is standard because the officer would have their six covered with firearm ready. No reason to be suspicious of any of this.

there's actually been a lot of studies recently and I've heard from numerous forensic analyst that is actually very rare to get fingerprints off of a gun unless they're in Blood on the gun. but because of the texture of the gun it doesn't always hold fingerprints like a knife or some other object would. so it actually isn't that rare that somebody's fingerprints wouldn't be found on a gun at all because nobody's would be
