In a shocking incident at Macys in Midtown Manhattan, Kerri Aherne, a forty-three-year-old woman recently discharged from a psychiatric ward, allegedly stabbed a tourist from California while she was changing her baby in a store bathroom. The victim, a Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department employee, suffered stab wounds and slashes but was stable. Aherne, who had previously threatened Senator Elizabeth Warren, claimed voices instructed her to kill. She was arrested and charged, with her arraignment scheduled for January seventh.
